BellaBambi® Cups

Attention

This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. This device can be used by children aged 8 and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have received supervision or instruction for the safe use of the device and understand the hazards.

Application & Principle

Squeeze, place, and release. You can pull the suctioned cup over your skin or leave it in place (see example exercises on the reverse side).

If you find the applications uncomfortable, squeeze BellaBambi® less firmly or use a softer intensity. Always pay attention to your own well-being!

WARNING:
Do not use BellaBambi® statically in one place for longer than 20 seconds to avoid skin marks. Static application on the face is completely excluded.

Do not apply to

Nipples, genital organs, anus, eyes (eyelids), lips and oral cavity, on lymph nodes, in the armpit and in the groin area.

Use only after medical consultation in case of

Pregnancy, acute injuries, open wounds, inflammations, varicose veins, tendency to bruising, ulcers due to diabetes and vascular diseases, irritable skin conditions such as psoriasis or hives, during therapies with blood-thinning medications, tumors, Sudeck's disease as well as all unclear and acute diseases

Cleaning & Storage

BellaBambi® can be very easily cleaned in the dishwasher or by hand with mild soapy water. After drying, treat with a disinfectant suitable for silicone (without propanol, phenol derivatives, or alkylamines (glucoprotamin)).
Please note: If BellaBambi® is heavily soiled, you can also boil it like a baby pacifier. To do this, place BellaBambi® in a clean pot, cover it completely with water, and let it boil for at least five minutes.

Children must not clean the cup without supervision.

Recommendations

For some applications, an oil to support lubricity is helpful. In the same way, BellaBambi® can also be combined with hyaluronic fluid, cellulite creams, or body lotions.

Intended purpose and principle

With BellaBambi® multi you can give yourself or others a soothing vacuum massage. Massages can have a relaxing or stimulating effect and are often used for tension, adhesions, pain, and fatigue in the areas of beauty, wellness, and sports.
BellaBambi® multi is intended for external use in the form of a vacuum massage of individual body parts of the human body. It is not a medical device, must not be used for therapeutic purposes, and cannot replace medical treatment.

⚠ Do not use BellaBambi® multi under these circumstances:

  • High-risk pregnancy
  • Through skin injuries, skin defects, and skin inflammations (e.g. abrasions, ulcers, sunburn)
  • Tendency to bleed or persons with blood clotting disorders
  • Diseases of the blood and lymph vessels
  • Skin cancers
  • Do not use BellaBambi® on: eyes and eyelids, ear canal, lips and oral cavity, nipples and genital organs, anus
  • Known allergies to product material and accessory components

Use BellaBambi® multi only after thorough examination of the circumstances in cases of: pregnancy, Morbus Sudeck, cancer and tumor diseases, tendency to bleed and blood clotting disorders, intake of blood-thinning medications, irritable skin conditions (e.g. psoriasis, urticaria), as well as all unclear diseases.

Use BellaBambi® multi only after thorough examination of the circumstances in cases of: pregnancy, Morbus Sudeck, cancer and tumor diseases, tendency to bleed and blood clotting disorders, intake of blood-thinning medications, irritable skin conditions (e.g. psoriasis, urticaria), as well as all unclear diseases. If your skin reacts sensitively to the application (e.g., rapid formation of bruises, persistent redness or itching) or if general discomfort and pain occur, please stop immediately and consult a doctor.

If BellaBambi® is fixed in place, please note our experience regarding how the skin can react with medium suction strength:

Sensitive skin

Pressure point : after ≈ 1-2 min
Redness : after ≈ 2-3 min
Cupping mark : after ≈ 5 min

Normal skin

Pressure point : after ≈ 2 min
Redness : after ≈ 4 min
Cupping mark : after ≈ 7 min

Robust skin

Pressure point : after ≈ 5 min
Redness : after ≈ 7 min
Cupping mark : after ≈ 9 min

* Cupping marks should not be confused with hematomas, so-called "bruises," which result from traumatic impacts (blows, falls, etc.). Cupping marks indicate blood leakage into the fascial tissue, which usually occurs without vessel rupture and is never (!) painful. Furthermore, these marks disappear without the typical yellow-green discolorations characteristic of hematomas.

Safety instructions

Attention: For your own safety, please strictly follow the following safety instructions and inform other users of the device about them. Keep this user manual.
  • Read these instructions carefully and completely before putting the device into operation and follow the sequence of procedures.
  • The vacuum pump and the applications can be stored back in the bag after use. So there is no packaging material that needs to be disposed of.
  • The device may only be connected to alternating current with a voltage according to the type plate on the pump housing.
  • Do not pull or pinch the power cable over sharp edges, do not let it hang down, and protect it from heat and oil.
  • Make sure that there is a power outlet near the installation location.
  • Lay the power cable and connection hose so that no one can trip over them.
  • The device must not be placed on the floor in the bathroom.
  • Do not use the device near water contained in bathtubs, sinks, or other containers.
  • Never immerse the device in water. No liquids must enter the device under any circumstances.
  • Do not cover the device with clothing, bath towels, or similar items (risk of overheating!).
  • Do not place the device on hot surfaces such as stove plates or similar and do not operate it near open flames.
  • Turn off the device after each use. The power plug must not be pulled out of the socket by the cable or with wet hands.
  • Do not operate the device unattended.
  • Before cleaning and maintenance of the device, the power plug must be pulled out of the socket.
  • Check the device for damage before each use. The device must not be put into operation if

◦ the pump housing or the power supply cables show damage.
◦ the device has previously fallen down.

  • If any of the above cases have occurred, please send the device to our service (see below) for inspection or professional repair. Do not attempt to repair the device yourself.
  • This device can be used by children aged eight (8) years and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and understand the resulting hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Please strictly adhere to the dosages and maximum time limits specified in these instructions for use!
  • Do not use accessories that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

Commissioning

  1. Before each use, the applications must be cleaned. See cleaning
  2. Select BellaBambi® application suitable for the body area and connect it to the vacuum pump using the connecting hose. (◦ BellaBambi® mini is especially suitable for narrow body parts, the face, hands, and feet. ◦ BellaBambi® original can be used on the entire body, such as back, calves, or neck. ◦ BellaBambi® maxi is used for large-area applications, e.g., on the back, abdomen, or thighs.)
  3. Plug in the power cord and turn on the vacuum pump.
  4. Set the maximum suction strength and place the BellaBambi® application. Once it has suctioned, reduce the suction strength if necessary until it is noticeable but not uncomfortable.
  5. Use in consideration of the intended purpose and the safety instructions in this user manual.
  6. Clean after use. See cleaning
  7. Turn off and unplug.

For your safety, we have installed a timer that automatically switches off the vacuum pump after 15 minutes. You can restart the device at any time using the On/Off button.

Application

Generally always apply only on skin or muscle and never directly on the spine or on bony prominences. Glands and lymph nodes must not be massaged.

Always adjust the suction strength to your comfort.

Cleaning

Please clean the vacuum pump only with a slightly damp, never dripping wet, cloth. If necessary, add a few drops of dish soap.

  1. Wash/rinse the BellaBambi® application with warm soapy water or a commercial dish detergent, either by hand or in the dishwasher.
  2. Thoroughly dry or let the BellaBambi® application dry.
  3. Spray with a disinfectant suitable for silicone, i.e., without phenol derivatives or alkylamines (glucoprotamin).
  4. Allow the disinfectant to take effect according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  5. Rinse disinfectant residues thoroughly with clear water.
  6. Thoroughly dry or let the BellaBambi® application dry again.

What to do in case of problems?

The application does not stick

Device not connected to power or turned off. → Plug in the power cable and turn on the device

The applications are not connected correctly. → Check connections at the vacuum pump and the application.

The skin area to be treated is heavily hairy. → Apply massage oil or cream, shave if necessary.

The opening of the BellaBambi® cannot fully rest on the body area. → Choose a smaller BellaBambi®, or slightly squeeze the BellaBambi® to reduce the contact surface

Timer expired → Press the On/Off button

The application is unpleasant.

The suction power is set incorrectly. → Reduce the suction power so that it is noticeable but not uncomfortable.

No skin care product is used. → Use a lubricating skin care product if possible.

Too little/the wrong skin care product is used. → Use a more lubricating skin care product.

The permissible environmental conditions specify the limits within which BellaBambi® multi can be used without the risk of damage.

Maintenance and repair

Repairs of the vacuum pump may only be carried out by the manufacturer. The device must not be opened under any circumstances. Do not perform any unauthorized manipulations on the device. Disposal

Your device contains numerous raw materials that can be recycled. Therefore, please take the device to a collection point in your city or municipality. Please do not throw old devices in the residual waste! Please inquire at your local recycling center about options for proper material recycling. If municipal disposal is not possible, you can send the device back to Bamberger for proper disposal free of charge.
