BellaBambi® Cups

Attention

Application & principle

Pinch, apply, and release. You can pull the suction cup over your skin or leave it in place.

If you find the application uncomfortable, pinch BellaBambi® less firmly or use a gentler intensity. Always pay attention to your own well-being!

WARNING:
Do not use BellaBambi® statically on one spot for longer than 20 seconds to prevent skin marking. Static application on the face is completely excluded.

Do not use on

Nipples, genitals, anus, eyes (eyelids), lips and oral cavity, on lymph nodes, in the armpit and in the groin area.

Use only after consultation with a doctor for

Pregnancy, acute injuries, open wounds, inflammations, varicose veins, tendency to bruising, ulcers caused by diabetes and vascular diseases, irritable skin conditions such as psoriasis or hives, therapies with blood-thinning medications, tumors, Sudeck's disease, and all unclear and acute diseases.

Cleaning & storage

BellaBambi® is very easy to clean in the dishwasher or by hand with a mild soapy solution. After drying, treat with a disinfectant suitable for silicone (without propanol, phenol derivatives, or alkylamines (glucoprotamine)). Note: If BellaBambi® is very dirty, you can also boil it - just like a pacifier. For this, put BellaBambi® in a clean pot, cover it completely with water, and boil it for at least five minutes.
Children should not clean the cup without supervision.

Recommendations

For some applications, an oil to support lubrication is useful. BellaBambi® can also be combined with hyaluronic fluid, cellulite creams, or body lotions.

Goal and principle

With BellaBambi® multi you can give yourself or others a beneficial negative pressure massage. Massages can be relaxing or stimulating and are often used to treat tension, adhesions, pain, and fatigue in the areas of beauty, wellness, and sports.
BellaBambi® multi is intended for external use in the form of a vacuum massage of individual parts of the human body. It is not a medical product, must not be used for therapeutic purposes, and cannot replace medical treatment.

⚠ Do not use BellaBambi® multi under these conditions:

  • Pregnancy with risk
  • Skin injuries, skin abnormalities and skin inflammations (e.g. abrasions, ulcers, sunburn)
  • Bleeding tendencies or people with blood clotting disorders
  • Diseases of the blood and lymph vessels
  • Skin cancer
  • Do not use BellaBambi® on: eyes and eyelids, ear canal, lips and oral cavity

If your skin reacts sensitively to application (e.g., rapid bruising, persistent redness or itching) or if you experience general discomfort and pain, stop immediately and consult a doctor.

If BellaBambi® stays in place, then take into account our empirical values on how the skin can react with an average absorption capacity:

* Cupping marks should not be confused with hematomas, so-called "bruises," which are caused by traumatic effects (blows, falls, etc.). Cupping marks indicate blood leakage in the fascial tissue, which (usually) occurs without vascular damage and is never (!) painful. Moreover, these marks disappear without the yellow-green discoloration that is typical for hematomas.

Safety instructions

Note: For your own safety, carefully follow the following safety instructions and make other users of the device aware of them. Keep this user manual in a safe place.
  • Read this user manual carefully and completely before using the device and follow the order of the procedures.
  • The vacuum pump and the applications can be put back into the bag after use. Therefore, no packaging material needs to be discarded.
  • The device may only be connected to alternating current with a voltage that corresponds to the nameplate on the pump housing.
  • Do not pull the power cord over sharp edges and do not pinch it, do not let it hang down, and protect it from heat and oil.
  • Make sure there is a power outlet near the installation location.
  • Lay the power cord and the connection hose so that no one can trip over them.
  • The device must not be placed on the bathroom floor.
  • Do not use the device near water in bathtubs, sinks, or other containers.
  • Never immerse the device in water. Never allow liquids to enter the device.
  • Do not cover the device with clothing, bath towels, or similar items (risk of overheating!).
  • Do not place the device on hot surfaces such as hotplates and the like, and do not use it near open flames.
  • Turn off the device after each use. Do not pull the plug out of the socket by the cord or with wet hands.
  • Do not use the device unattended.
  • Always unplug the device before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Check the device for damage before each use. Do not use the device if
    ◦ the pump housing or power cables are damaged.
    ◦ the device has been dropped.
  • If any of the above cases occur, send the device to our Service Department for inspection or professional repair. Never attempt to repair the device yourself.
  • This device can be used by children from eight (8) years old and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are supervised or instructed on the safe use of the device and understand the hazards. Children must not play with the device. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Strictly adhere to the dosages and maximum duration indicated in this user manual!
  • Do not use additional parts that are not recommended by the manufacturer.

Commissioning

  1. The applications must be cleaned before each use. See cleaning on page 6
  2. Choose the BellaBambi® application that fits the body part and connect it to the vacuum pump with the connecting hose.

    • BellaBambi® mini is especially suitable for narrow body parts, the face, hands, and feet.

    • BellaBambi® original can be used on the whole body, e.g. back, calves, or neck.

    • BellaBambi® maxi is used for large surfaces, e.g. on the back, abdomen, or thighs.
  3. Plug the power cord into the outlet and turn on the vacuum pump.
  4. Set the maximum suction power and apply the BellaBambi® application. Once it is suctioned, reduce the suction power if necessary until it is noticeable but not uncomfortable.
  5. Use in accordance with the intended purpose and the safety instructions in this user manual.
  6. Clean after use. See Cleaning on page 6
  7. Turn off the device and unplug it from the outlet.

For your safety, we have installed a timer that automatically switches off the vacuum pump after 15 minutes. You can restart the device at any time using the on/off button.

Application

In general, you may only massage the skin or muscles and never directly on the spine or bone protrusions. Glands and lymph nodes must not be massaged.

Adjust the suction power always to your comfort level.

Cleaning

Clean the vacuum pump only with a slightly damp, but never dripping wet cloth. Add a few drops of cleaning agent if necessary.

1. Wash/rinse the BellaBambi® application with warm soapy water or commercially available dish detergent, by hand or in the dishwasher.
2. Dry the BellaBambi® application thoroughly or let it dry.
3. Spray with a disinfectant suitable for silicone, i.e. without phenol derivatives or alkylamines (glucoprotamine).
4. Let the disinfectant take effect according to the manufacturer's instructions.
5. Rinse disinfectant residues thoroughly with clear water.
6. Dry the BellaBambi® application thoroughly again or let it dry.

What to do in case of problems?

The application does not freeze

Device not connected to the mains or turned off. → Connect the power cord and turn on the device.

The applications are not connected correctly. → Check the connections on the vacuum pump and on the application.

The skin area to be treated is very hairy. → Apply massage oil or cream, shave if necessary.

The opening of the BellaBambi® cannot rest fully on the body part. → Choose a smaller BellaBambi® or squeeze the BellaBambi® slightly to reduce the contact surface.

Timer finished → Press the on/off button.

The application is unpleasant

The suction power is set incorrectly. → Reduce the suction power so that it is noticeable but not uncomfortable.

No skincare product is used. → Use a spreadable skincare product if possible.

Too little/the wrong skincare product is being used. → Use a skincare product that moisturizes more.

Maintenance and repair

Waste disposal

Your device contains many raw materials that can be recycled. Therefore, hand in the device at a collection point in your city or municipality. Do not throw old devices in the residual waste! Inquire at your local recycling center about the options to recycle your device. If municipal disposal is not possible, you can send the device to Bamberger for professional disposal free of charge.
